A week with Robb
That's us! (I know - it's been forever since you've seen a real picture on my blog!!)
Robb just left this week after spending a few days in St. Louis and then coming home with me to visit with family. I've been on break for 2 1/2 weeks now and I'm going back to St. Louis on Tuesday to start all over again Wednesday. Year round school is exhausting, but I'm about ready to go back. A person can only watch HGTV and do Sudoku for so many days straight before she goes crazy.
Our visit was really great - it's always great to see him!! It's funny to date long distance. We can talk for an hour or more every day, but I still get nervous when he steps off the plane and we have that first kiss all over again. You'd think after a whole year of dating him (and 2 years of kissing!) that newness would wear off, but it just doesn't. It's great!! When he came we did the usual sightseeing things - the Budweiser Brewery Tour, Grant's Farm, and we stayed a night at the Embassy Suites (I won a free night stay!) All three of those places gave us free alcohol, so that was enjoyable! He came with me to my youth house for a Bible study type thing I was leading and he got to meet all of my friends at church which was really cool too. Then we drove back to Ohio (stopping on the way to admire the biggest cross EVER). then we had a get together with my mom's side so he could meet some more relatives. Max was there and he is so big now - he can walk!!
After Robb left I haven't done to much. I went up to Put In Bay with my high school friend - Sarah. That was a lot of fun. She's studying to be a D.O., so we swaped some trade secrets. We took a boat to an island in search of food and refreshment, but ended up being dropped off a mile and a half away from our target and the golf cart place was closed, so we walked about a mile downed a beer and hauled back to catch the ferry. We almost missed the las one of the day, but a bus picked up our hitch-hiking butts and saved us. It was an excellent adventure, as always.

Exams
On a less fun note...could you all pray for my Dad today? He's already had 2 open heart surgeries when I was in high school and he is going in for a stress test today. Last time he did one they rushed him to the hospital immediately, so we are all a little scared. It's really hard being here taking exams when I want to be there with him and I don't think he has good medical insurance either, which doesn't help, so please, just pray about it. Thanks!! I'll let you all know how the tests went as soon as I find out.
